Dear community, As we weave through the seasons, let’s come together to celebrate love and joy through creativity, and hold space to honor our collective grief for injustices facing many families and allies overseas, and in our neighborhoods. In February, our DIY Valentine’s card silkscreen workshop brings families together to honor love of family and friends. We’re dedicating our Wellness Wednesday to collective care to help us process and cope with loss and grief, and relaunching our DIY silkscreen class for those who wish to learn the fundamentals of this technique. Speaking of love, we’re excited to share that our exhibition, At the Heart of It, curated by Rubén Esparza at the LGBT Center in Hollywood, has been extended through February 10! Learn more about our upcoming offerings below and be sure to follow us online to stay connected! Con Amor, Self Help Graphics

Battle of the Saints Exhibit Opens March 7
Save the date for our upcoming exhibition, Battle of the Saints, opening March 7, 2024-April 27, 2024 at the Long Beach City College Art Gallery! The exhibition highlights the everyday icons worshiped across cultures. Their images and likeness have become so ubiquitous that they appear in our daily lives, from billboards to candles, key chains, murals, t-shirts, toys, and more throughout our world. Revered figures like wrestlers, saints, gods, artists, political activists, and athletes are just a few of the cultural icons whose likeness instills a profound sense of community. In this metaphorical "Battle of the Saints," we playfully bestow a sense of "sainthood" upon these icons, acknowledging their elevated status within our community. More details will be announced soon!
